My name is Ajai Karthikeyan.
I am currently a third year at Georgia Tech. I am a Computer Science major mainly because of my passion for technology. My other passions are for marketing and entrepreneurship and hence I am also a Management major. Yes, I am the glutton for punishment who is pursuing 2 majors at Georgia Tech. Ideally, I hope to work on marketing or managing technology more than actually implementing said technology.
Brief history of my life: Born in India, I moved to Dubai when I was in second grade where I spent most of my school life. After high school, I left the eastern hemisphere and arrived in Atlanta to go to the Georgia Institute of Technology.
I love to learn and try new things. For me, my education is not defined by the grades I get but by the number of challenging situations I have put myself in. Surprisingly enough, I used to say this even back in the days when I had a 4.0 GPA.
I am interested in a lot of things from rock climbing to bowling to reading a good book but one thing I cannot stand is being bored – i.e. doing nothing. Me being bored is a hazard to world peace and my parents’ sanity. Usually, when I get bored, I end up taking on a “pet project” which are one of the best things about me.
